Managing websites and juggling your real life schedule can be difficult. As for myself I only spend whatever free time i have on websites, unless my website becomes a an actual business with revenue I don't treat as much. Although I do keep it at a standard of professionalism.

I only spend my free time on my project. It doesn't currently earn anything but it is something which I would love to see my site eventually achieve. I hope I can manage it within the next couple of years, but I doubt it would earn enough for it to be anything more than free time for quite some time.

Part time, i have two boards, one is my main board, and the other is a research based board, so it can get full time at times

It's a full time job for me and the hours have paid off. However, though, I'm still waiting on the big break. That would be when my earnings are at least a few hundred (US dollars) a month.

I make it a point to set aside a given amount of time every day to work on my forum, like you would a job. I think that's important. So currently I am only working on one particular site, and I devote 90 minutes to it each day. After that I x out of it and don't look at it again until the next day. Compartmentalization works well for me.
