Hosting typically comes with the option to have add-on domains. In that case, you simply go to add-on domains on cPanel. However, though, some people are just content with one website. Anyway, I can see some logic with the 2nd thinking. I mean, it might be better to focus on one project rather than many. However, though, one could focus on one and then do the others later.

I host several websites and I usually work on a couple of different projects at the same time. But lately I've been shutting down several of my sites so that I can focus more on the few projects I have left. This way I can dedicate more time and do a better job with my current projects.

I always tend to only have one site at a time because it's important to focus on one site and to make it the best. There is no point having loads if you don't have the time to make each one great.

I sort of agree with that, but I don't really want to put all my ideas on one forum. In that case, I want several, but I want to focus heavily on them - one at a time.

Unfortunately, I've been doing the same - as the XenForo licenses are expensive.
